I am in the night
I am every part of it
The consumption of its beast
The deck that it deals
The veins that bleed
The caress of its serpent

I am the night
As it writhes and undulates toward dawn
It moans and cries a symphony of anger
I am its agony as it struggles against the light
And dies with the strike of the Sun God.

Dave's Comments:

The Rollins Band appeared at the Woodstock 94 festival, and much of their performance was recorded for posterity on several bootlegs produced from the pay per view television feed (ALIEN BLUEPRINT, HUMAN PIT BULL, WOODSTOCK 94, and LIVE IN NEW YORK AND AT WOODSTOCK. A singular song was officially released on this double disc compilation. Right Here Too Much was a good choice for inclusion: As optimistic as any Rollins Band song, it was the highpoint of the Rollins Band's performance at Woodstock 94.

Here's what Rollins had to say about being at Woodstock 94:

When the wind blew towards the stage all you could smell was the sweat of over three hundred thousand people. It was so much flesh, humans as far as you could see. Time seemed to hang suspended while we played. While I was walking off I tried to look out there so hard I would never forget it. We had a blast.

Thanks to Terry Snoevit for motivating me and helping to put this entry together.
