Dave's Comments:
A collaboration of Rollins and Andrew Weiss, with
Sim Cain doing drum fills on one track. It sounds like half
a Rollins Band. The lyrics are provocative, fascinating, and
different from Rollins Band stuff. The musical backing is also
neat and quite different from Rollins Band material, and a must for
Andrew Weiss fanatics. WARTIME's cover of the
Grateful Dead's FRANKLIN'S TOWER is surreal and strange.
I've received new information on this disc: It was in fact released
in 1990, and there was a video which received some airplay. Copies
from 1990 do not feature the 'FEATURING HENRY ROLLINS' found on the
cover scanned above. The disc was then rereleased in 1994 to try and
capitalize upon the popularity of WEIGHT,
although all the copyrights on the disc and packaging still say 1990.
The rift between Rollins and Andrew Weiss means there is
probably more to the story here. Many thanks to Andy for providing
information for this entry.
