I am in the night
I am every part of it
The consumption of its beast
The deck that it deals
The veins that bleed
The caress of its serpent

I am the night
As it writhes and undulates toward dawn
It moans and cries a symphony of anger
I am its agony as it struggles against the light
And dies with the strike of the Sun God.

  • "I have watched your people for a very long time. I have been taking very thorough notes and I have been making vocal entries into my tape recorder. I have been chronicling every vice, every fear, every weakeness. Every one. I have weapons. I will use these agaist you. I will reflect you at yourself. You teach me so much about yourself. Your aversion to the truth and your fear of rejection and failure make you easy. I watch you from above. I will strike when you are at your lowest, weakest level. See you around."

Webmasters Notes: I got lucky to borrow a copy of this years ago. If you stumble on a copy in a used book store or on ebay grab it.
